A resounding 'meh'.

Great build up, felt shortchanged by the payoff. Somewhat anticlimactic.

What Spiderman should have been.

By all rights, a retelling of the origins of Marvel's heroes set in the year 1602 shouldn't have been that entertaining.

Not as much fun as the original, but still enjoyable.

Good enough to keep me interested for volume 2. Not Vaughan's best work.

Without the threat of the pride, so goes the urgency that kept volume 1 moving.

Vaughan is losing me, but I'll still check it out when Whedon takes over.

JJ confronts Peter Parker, whom he now knows is Spider-man. Should've been so much more.

Absolutely fantastic. You can't get much more in your face than this.

20 years later and still one of those relevant graphic novels ever produced.

Really disappointing, especially following the enjoyment of Planet Hulk.

I think I liked it, but then again, it could just be the title that calls to me.
