A long overdue read for me, but well worth the wait. Starting and ending the series with this book would not be a horrible call.

Hard to root or care for a ridiculously unlikeable character.

A unique premise in literary science fiction? That's crazy talk.

A wonderful introduction, but not as satisfying as the series that follows.

Losing complete interest in this universe.

A great many words can't make up for the lack of a good story.

Scalzi's sense of humor mixed with his gift for storytelling makes for one hell of a sequel.

The return of main series protagonist Jon Perry pleased me greatly.

A fun return to the Matador universe I had discovered as a kid, but standard Perry otherwise.

Sweet Zombie Jesus, yes.

Not the most satisfying of endings, but overall one of the best graphic novel series I have read to date.
